Osborne carries out the responsive and void upgrade works to around 8,000 homes for Kent-based Broomleigh Housing Association, with an approximate annual value of £4m. The relationship is now in it's 11th year, having started work in September 1998.
The initial schedule of rates contract was converted to Open Book partnering in September 2000, bringing immediate savings of £333k. by removing duplication of effort.
As our partnership relationship has developed, Broomleigh has extended both the duration of our contract and the scope of the work which we undertake. Our current responsibilities include, in addition to responsive maintenance, voids refurbishment, planned maintenance and occasional project work.
In the first five years we reduced client direct costs by £2.5m., whilst improving quality of work and customer satisfaction.
Osborne has been active in supporting local employment, local contractors, training/education, resident involvement, and community social initiatives.
