The members of the Group Executive are:
David Fison MA FICE - Chief Executive
David joined Osborne as Chief Executive in February 2009. He has more than thirty years experience in the construction industry and has held senior management positions at Balfour Beatty and Skanska. For the last six years he was Chief Executive of Skanska UK, the UK arm of one of the world’s leading construction services groups.
Andrew Osborne MA (Oxon) ACA - Deputy Chairman
Andrew represents the Osborne family and promotes the company to both clients and the industry. He is also responsible for corporate responsibility and sustainability and promoting the values internally. He is a chartered accountant and was our Group Finance Director between 2000 and 2005. He has been on the Group Board since 2000. He is also a Non-Executive Director of Charter plc.
Stephen Liddle - Executive Director
Stephen joined the Group Board in 1996 and has responsibility for Osborne’s Property Services and Rail Sectors. He leads Osborne’s work on Public Private Partnerships and Osborne Developments.
Mike Cocks - Sector Managing Director, Rail
Mike joined Osborne in 1986 having spent nineteen years with John Laing in their Civil Engineering Division.
He has been at the forefront of developing the Osborne Rail capability, and has recently driven through improvements in safety performance.
Phil Shortman - Executive Director
Phil joined Osborne in January 2008 as Managing Director of our Construction Division after seventeen years with Wates. At Wates he was responsible for construction in London and the south east, including four and a half years as Business Unit Director. Phil joined the Osborne Group Board in December 2008.
Tommy Chambers BEng (Hons) PhD MIHT - Sector Managing Director, Civil Engineering
Tommy joined Osborne in 1998 after starting his career as a graduate engineer with Alfred Mc Alpine. He has responsibility for the management of the Civil Engineering Division and has been at the forefront of business improvement within the division.
Gordon Shepherd BSc Hons ACM - Group Finance Director
Gordon joined Osborne in 1999 and is a chartered management accountant. Gordon had been acting as Group Finance Director since April 2007 until his official appointment in January 2008. He has responsibility for the financial management and control of the business. Prior to joining Osborne, Gordon was a management consultant with AT
Kearney Limited.
David Hatton BSc ACA - Company Secretary
David joined Osborne in December 2004 and has responsibility for pensions, legal and company secretarial matters. He previously held similar positions with Simon Group and Ken wood Appliances.
